I realize I still have a lot of years left to live but I also know that we’re not guaranteed another day either. My Dad passed away at the young age of 53 and I bet you if he had known, he would have done more for himself before his time. Lately, I’ve thought a lot about what things I’d like to accomplish before I become an old maid and regret not doing more…

Things to Do:
Send each one of my children to a great college
Do at least one more Round-Off-Back-Handspring
Meet Blake Griffin
Attend a surprise birthday party… for me ;)
Create my OWN holiday traditions with my own family
Tour the campus of The University of Alabama (and Tuscaloosa) to learn more of my great-grandfather’s legacy (who was Univ. President)
Rescue and/or foster as many animals as I possibly can from shelters
Run my own small business; become an entrepreneur
Honor my father in everything I do so that I can look back and know that I’ve made him proud
Own a David Yurman
Eat an authentic Croque-Em-Bouche
Become a leader in a management role
Drive a Harley
Live beachfront
Write a novel or autobiography
Dedicate my life to causes that are dear to me: Cancer, Depression, Diabetes
Tour the Biltmore with someone I love very much
Forgive every person who has hurt me (think about it… that’s tough)
Sing Karaoke just one more time and not be terrified to do so
Swim with dolphins
Eat in Italy
Live in downtown Charleston
Run my own restaurant (maybe)
I”m sure there are SO many more that I’m forgetting but this is a good place to start! I will add more as I think of them…
